Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use LinksGuard, we collect:

• Account data — your email address, provided when you sign up.
• Link data — URLs, labels, and platforms you add to your dashboard.
• Click events — when someone clicks a /go/ link, we record the timestamp, the referring URL, and the inferred platform. We do not collect visitor IP addresses or personal identifiers.
• Health check results — HTTP status codes, final redirect URLs, and timestamps from our automated checks.
• Billing data — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID; we never see or store your card details.

2. How we use your data

• To operate the service — running link health checks, tracking clicks, and displaying your dashboard.
• To send email alerts when a link breaks (via Resend). You can manage notification preferences from your dashboard.
• To generate AI replacement suggestions using the Anthropic API. Only the link label and URL are sent — no personal data.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the processors listed below.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and link data for as long as your account is active. Click events and health check history older than 12 months may be automatically purged. When you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

5. Your rights

You can:

• Export your link data at any time using the CSV export in your dashboard (Pro plan).
• Delete individual links from your dashboard.
• Request full account deletion by emailing us. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only functional cookies required for authentication (managed by Supabase). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
